CASE STUDY
FROM FOLK SESSIONS TO
STREAMING CONVERSATIONS
KEEP FOLK TALKING PODCAST

Openhose Studio celebrates the voices, stories and characters that make folk music so special.
Their vision was to create a place where fans could reconnect with familiar voices from the folk world and discover the stories behind the music.

THE BRIEF

Openhouse Studio came to Opus 4 with a lovely idea. They wanted a digital scrapbook of folk music.

Somewhere warm, nostalgic and full of personality where listeners could explore the world of folk. The centrepiece of the project was a podcast series, bringing together well known voices from the folk scene to share stories, memories and music.

The challenge was to create a platform that felt creative, welcoming and a little bit magical, while making it easy to publish podcasts, feature artists and grow a community of listeners.

OUR APPROACH

We designed and built a website that feels like stepping into a living scrapbook of folk culture.

Each podcast episode sits alongside its own artist feature page, complete with custom illustrations created specially for the site. Visitors can explore each guest’s story while listening to the conversation that brings it to life.

The project did not stop at the website. We worked closely with OH Folk to support the project as it grew, helping them launch and distribute their podcast across all the major platforms while keeping the site fresh with new content, artwork and updates.
